Baptism – January 7

Below is the testimony for the baptism at 9:30 am on Sunday, January 7, 2024. We celebrate with this young man as he takes this step in his journey with Christ.

I was 5 years-old and I was talking with my sister Abigail about Christ and she asked me if I wanted to be a Believer and I asked what a Believer was and she told me. I decided that day I wanted to be a Believer in Jesus. I accepted Him into my heart. I needed Him in my life because I knew without Him I wouldn’t go to Heaven and I knew that He died on the cross for my sins. I see Him in my life. I remember my Pappy getting COVID and I thought he wasn’t going to make it. It was really hard for me. He got out of the hospital and slowly made a recovery. I saw Jesus through that because I remember praying to Jesus and thinking He wasn’t going to hear me, but He did. Jesus is always listening. Now my Pappy is still here with me. I have devotions every day before school with my Mom and I go to church with my family. I try to tell other people about Jesus. I want to be baptized today to show everyone that I am a Believer in Jesus.
