The Women’s Ministry here at King Street is called LIFT – Living in Faith & Truth.

Our ladies enjoy weekday Bible studies, simulcast events with popular Bible teachers,
Creative Oasis Craft Nights,
and special events like the annual Festival of Tables.

Festival of Tables on March 28: This annual celebration is a much-loved tradition. Each year, a theme is chosen and then our hostesses each decorate a table in a unique way that reflects that theme. The theme for 2020 is “These Are a Few of Our Favorite Things” — focusing on those hobbies or activities that move your heart and put a smile on your face. For more information, or to register to hostess or attend, click HEREDue to current CDC recommendations, this event has been postponed. Watch for updates on the new date.

  • LADIES’ WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY  |  Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am in room M33 |  This group meets each week for fellowship and Bible exploration. Starting February 26, the group will study “Believing Jesus: Are You Willing to Risk Everything? A Journey through the Book of Acts” by Lisa Harper. It’s a great time to join!
  • EARLY MORNING LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY  |  Every other Thursday morning from 6:30-7:30 am in room M9  |  Through April, the group will continue their study of “The Battle Plan for Prayer.” New participants are always welcome!

Mom2Mom meets every other Thursday during the school year.   |  Room M28  |  9:30-11:00 am  |   It is a place where moms of babies through early elementary ages can make new friends, share experiences, and learn practical Biblical principles. Their time begins in a large group setting and then they break into smaller groups for a more personal time of discussion and interaction. Childcare is provided during meetings. Throughout the year, they also meet for a variety of special events and social activities. If you are interested in joining, contact Erin Peterson at 717-491-2589 or [email protected] for details.  Our Mission: Mom2Mom exists to encourage, support and serve each other in the God-given task of raising our children according to Biblical principles.

This ministry provides opportunities for fellowship to our widows.  They also provide connections to our Men to Mend teams, who make small home repairs and safety checks.  Contact the church office for more information.
