We have a very busy women’s ministry at King Street called LIFT (Living in Faith and Truth.) The ladies enjoy weekday Bible studies, Saturday morning videos, Craft Nights, and events like the popular “Festival of Tables.”

SUNDAY MORNING CLASS

In addition to a variety of adult classes offered at both 9:30 and 11:00 each week (find info here), our Women’s Ministry offers a special class just for ladies.

FRIENDS IN FAITH – Women’s Sunday Class   |  Led by Deb MacAskill   |  Room M1  |  11:00-12:00  |  The Friends in Faith class is held in a small group setting. New members and visitors are always welcome!

WOMEN OF WORTH:

This ministry provides opportunities for fellowship to our widows.  They also provide connections to our Men to Mend teams, who make small home repairs and safety checks.  Contact the church office for more information.

MORNING BIBLE STUDY CLASSES

  • LADIES’ WEEKLY BIBLE STUDY  |  Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am in room M9 |  “Finding I AM” by Lisa TerKeurst: What is the deep cry of your heart? That ache in your soul that keeps you up at night? The prayer you keep repeating? Jesus not only cares about this spiritual wrestling but He also wants to step in and see you through it.
  • EARLY MORNING LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY  |  Every other Thursday morning from 6:30-7:30 am in room M9  |  “Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World” by Joanna Weaver: This study is an invitation for every woman who feels she isn’t godly enough, isn’t loving enough, or isn’t doing enough. We’ll learn how to draw closer to our Lord, deepening our devotion, strengthening our service, and doing both with less stress and greater joy.

MOM2MOM SUPPORT GROUP

Mom2Mom meets every other Thursday during the school year.   |  Room M28  |  9:30-11:00 am  |   It is a place where moms of babies through early elementary ages can make new friends, share experiences, and learn practical Biblical principles. Their time begins in a large group setting and then they break into smaller groups for a more personal time of discussion and interaction. Childcare is provided during meetings. Throughout the year, they also meet for a variety of special events and social activities. If you are interested in joining, contact Erin Peterson at 717-491-2589 or robanderin@yahoo.com for details.  Our Mission: Mom2Mom exists to encourage, support and serve each other in the God-given task of raising our children according to Biblical principles.
