WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES

Tuesday Morning Study

Starting Tuesday, September 15, the group will begin a study of the books of Joshua and Ruth. They meet weekly at 10 am downstairs in room M4. All you need to bring is your Bible as the Bible Study lessons will be provided.  The study is led by Deb Baker and Brenda Sloane.  September 15 will be a “Meet & Greet” and the study itself will begin the following week, on September 22.

Wednesday Evening Study

This group will resume in the fall. Each week, they meet to learn and grow together. Watch for more details later this summer on what they will be studying.

 

Thursday Morning Study

Facilitated by Pat Bowers and Sharon Love, this group meets every other week from September through June, from 8:00 – 9:30 am in M9. They also spend a portion of their time with sharing and prayer requests. All ladies are welcome. Questions, contact Sharon.

WOMEN’S NIGHT OF PRAYER & FELLOWSHIP

Ladies, you’re invited to an hour of prayer and multi-generational fellowship for all women of King Street ages 16+. We will meet on the second Thursday of each month from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Middle School Room.  Our purpose is:

  • to gather in simple worship where we sing simple, Christ-centered songs that magnify God and grow our knowledge and love for Him
  • to hear a short exhortation that affirms orthodox, historic Christian beliefs and encourages the pursuit of Christlikeness
  • to humbly bring all of our requests to the Lord; to pray for steadfastness as The Church eagerly awaits Christ’s return
  • to have a space that fosters multigenerational community and discipleship like Titus 2— holding each other accountable before God while affirming and honoring one another as sisters in Christ, and as spiritual mothers and daughters in the faith.

 

WOMEN OF WORTH
(Widows’ Ministry)

This ministry provides opportunities for fellowship to our ladies who have lost a spouse.  They also provide connections to our Men to Mend teams, who make small home repairs and safety checks.  Contact the church office for more information.
