The Street Student Ministry exists to engage and bless students and their families in our community with the Gospel. We do this by helping students (grades 6-12) connect with Christ and each other, grow in Christ, and serve and share Christ. The students meet regularly and enjoy special events together.

Student 30-Hour Famine
On March 8-9, students in grades 6-12 are invited to participate in the 30 Hour Famine. We did this event last year, and it left a huge impact on those involved. Students will fast for 30 hours to raise awareness within themselves and their community, and to raise money to fight world hunger through World Vision.
On March 8, students will start fasting on their own at 1 pm. They will arrive at King Street at 7 pm to register. We will have a time of hanging out and playing games, be led through some prayer exercises, and will watch some videos from World Vision about people who experienced hunger around the world. On Saturday, students will serve our community and we will have time of reflection. We will break the fast together with some tacos at 7 pm on Saturday.

This summer, students finishing grades 7-12 are invited to join us as we serve in Providence, Rhode Island from June 22-28.

We will have applications for the trip available on this date. Please let Lauren know if you have questions or can’t make the meeting and still want info.
