NIGHT TO SHINE
After being virtual for two years, our Night to Shine prom-style party is back! This amazing event for people with special needs will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023. Registration for guests is full and we are now building our volunteer team. We especially need buddies. Register through the link below!
THE GENEROSITY PROJECT
Our elementary children are collecting money to give to local people in need this holiday season. Families are challenged to think of creative ways to earn funds, which they will turn in on Thanksgiving Sunday. Our church family is invited to think of ideas for a local ministry, charity, or work that we can bless.
Advent is a season when believers celebrate Christ’s coming at Christmas, and also anticipate the day when He will come again. In the weeks ahead we are excited to celebrate the hope, love, joy and peace of Christ together as a church family. See information about our Christmas events, including our Christmas Concert, Christmas at Country Creek, the Student Ugly Sweater Christmas Party, Christmas Eve services, options for Christmas day, and a form for poinsettia dedications.
Pastor Jody has challenged us as a church family to invite people into our homes for a meal, those outside of our normal flow of activity. Let’s spread the sweet aroma of Christ to those who do not know Him.
The fall Ministry Guide provides an overview of all of our church ministries, core values, 10-year vision, a listing of staff, parking and facility maps, and more. If you are new to King Street Church, it’s a great place to start in learning more about our community. It’s a bit like getting our whole website in one file!
KING STREET CHURCH IN ACTION
We have a few areas within our church that are in great need of help right now, including our Preschool and Elementary ministries (Sunday morning teachers and assistants). Service Central features the most urgent of our own “in-house” needs as well as those of our local partners.
