- The covenant law was valuable for restraining sin, revealing sin, and guiding to God. The Holy Spirit is the fulfilment of the law. The Holy Spirit does not only guide us to God, but He is God our Guide. Why is it important to remember that the Holy Spirit is a personal guide?
- When we believe in Jesus, we do not set aside the Old Testament. We read the Old Testament as a pointer to Christ; He is hidden but present in the Old Testament. Yet the Old Testament can sometimes be difficult. How have you found value in the Old Testament?
- Paul calls the Galatians foolish. This does not mean they are stupid. It means they keep thinking that unhealthy ways of living are going to bring them to new spiritual health. Where are you tempted to be “foolish?” Where are you leaning into unhealthy habits expecting different results?
