Sunday Service Schedule

October 21, 2020 | KSC News

We want to clarify our schedule and expectations as we prepare for Sunday.

SUNDAY SCHEDULE:
🙌  8:00 am, Sanctuary (Traditional) Masks Required
🙌  9:30 am, Baker Center and Sanctuary (Contemporary) Masks Required
🙌  11:00 am, Sanctuary (Contemporary) Masks Required
🙌  11:00 am, Baker Center (Contemporary) Masks are OPTIONAL at this service. We have a mask-free entrance but ask for everyone to wear a mask in the common spaces (hallways, bathrooms, foyers, etc).

❤️ A WORD ABOUT MASKS: Our leadership has been hard pressed to think of a more divisive issue in the life of our church than the wearing of masks. For every Jesus-loving person holding very staunchly to one position, there is a fellow brother or sister in Christ who believes ardently in the other side. It is heartbreaking to us that the spirit of our services has been contaminated with tension. We are asking that we rise above this debate. We are asking that everyone respect the church’s leadership and comply with the expectations for the sake of each other and for the sake of worshiping God together as one body!

🙂 “I don’t think it’s necessary to wear a mask.”🙂  Please wear a mask on Sunday morning, even though we recognize that it is not your preference. Please wear a mask when taking your children to class or when navigating the halls to a Sunday school class. If you plan to stay within the space of the Baker Center gym for your entire visit at the 11:00 am service, we now offer two mask-free entrances into the Baker Center… the door on Second Street, and the door at the corner of the Baker Center (near the alley.) Please show grace to the staff and to those who are wearing masks. We love you!

😷 “I think wearing a mask is very important.”😷  Please show grace to those not wearing a mask. While it may appear disrespectful and feel hurtful, you do not know their situation or their heart. We believe we are providing a way to socially distance and therefore still safely worship within our building. We are doing our best to protect every individual who comes through our doors. Please also show grace to the staff, as we cannot control every variable, and remember, we love you!
