Praying for Your Pastor, 7 Prayers in 7 Days

Bishop Todd Fetters shared the message on Sunday, June 1: “Praying for Your Pastor, 7 Prayers in 7 Days.”  He suggested this prayer guide as you pray for our pastors.

 

7 Payers in 7 Days: 

SUNDAY:  That your pastor will be honored, affirmed, and respected.

MONDAY: That your pastor will be protected from focused attacks by Satan, stay far from sin, and walk in obedience to God’s Word.

TUESDAY:  That God will give your pastor wisdom, patience, perseverance, and grace in facing people-issues, and that those they lead will be loyal, understanding, and supportive.   

WEDNESDAY: That your pastor’s marriage and family will be God-pleasing and wise. 

THURSDAY:  That your pastor, in preparing to teach God’s word, will listen to God’s voice, protect time for study, avoid theological error, personally apply the truth, and be filled with God’s Spirit.

FRIDAY:  That your pastor will consistently practice spiritual disciplines.

SATURDAY:  That your pastor will be zealous for the church and compelling in promoting it’s mission.
