Night to Shine 2022

On February 11, King Street Church was honored to host a virtual Night to Shine event for our friends with special needs. While the Tim Tebow Foundation provided an online simulcast to be enjoyed by all guests, King Street Church was able to also offer our guests a drive through experience where they picked up their meals and goodie bags, and enjoyed a “Shine Thru” parade with a “paparazzi” that screamed and cheered for each guest as they slowly drove by. Each bag contained a corsage/boutonniere for the guest to wear, special notes and gifts, and a crown or tiara. At the designated time during the online simulcast, guests were “crowned” there at their homes, reminding them that they are Kings and Queens!

Thank you to all those who planned the event, helped prepare materials for our guests and served at the drive-through portion of the night. We were able to celebrate over 80 local guests at the drive-through location. The feedback has been amazing! It took more than 100 volunteers to serve in order to bring this night to life. Thanks for engaging and blessing a precious part of our community, and for shining for the Kingdom in this very special way!
