- Pastor Aaron talked about the courage of the group gathered. Consider how God gives us grace to be courageous to receive his Spirit. What do you think of the idea that God gives courage for us to be able to receive more grace?
- Pastor Aaron talked about how the Holy Spirit works above, in, and through creation, but that the Spirit is not created. We might be tempted to replace the Holy Spirit with various spirits—spirits that make us feel powerful, pure, or connected. Can you identify with this temptation?
- Pastor Aaron urged us to remember that the Holy Spirit gives us power, but that the Holy Spirit is not magic. The Holy Spirit does not give us an unfair advantage in the ways of the world, but he is God’s means of keeping us faithful and effective in the world. What kinds of people do you think God wants to develop in today’s world?
