Experience and Encounter Questions:

These questions are an invitation to experience your life with God. Use them on your own or in community as you seek to follow Jesus.

1.  Conduct a survey of the Old Testament and New Testament of references to the Trinity.  The reference may mention God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit or it may simply say “Us” or “Them.”  What do you notice in those references?  What is God saying to you about who He is and who you are in Him?

2.  How does the Father relate to the Son, the Son to the Father, and the Holy Spirit to the Father and the Son?  What characteristics do you see in their relationship?  What did you learn about the Fellowship of God?

3.  Based on what you noticed about the relationship of the Trinity, and understanding we are adopted into the Community of God with all believers, what is the condition of your worship relationships?  Perhaps better put, what is the condition of your worth-ship relationships?
