Wonder Truth: The Holy Spirit is for Everyone Who Believes
Scripture: Acts 10
Family Conversations:
- Jesus’ first disciples were Jews. What were non-Jews called? (Gentiles)
- Before Peter met Cornelius, Peter had an interesting vision (a special picture from God’s Spirit).
- What did he see? (a sheet coming down from the sky filled with animals that Jews were not allowed to eat because they were considered “impure”)
- What did Peter’s vision mean? (God wants everyone to be in relationship with Him, even people who are not Jews.)
- God wants everyone to know Him and gives the Holy Spirit to everyone who believes in Him! What does that tell us about what God is like?
- In God’s big story, Peter learned something new. What is something new that God is teaching you?
