Today in Sunday School classes, we taught the children a lesson about LOVE. God loves His people and promised to send a Savior to rescue them.  Jesus—God’s Son—is the promised Savior. God sent Jesus because He loves us!

Wonder Truth: God Loved Us by Sending Jesus
Scripture: Isaiah 11; John 1
Family Conversations: 

• What is your favorite gift you’ve ever given someone? What is your favorite gift you’ve received?
• Think about each family member. What are some ways each person shows love to you?
• Who is someone outside our family who we love and appreciate? What is one way we can show them love?
• Who (or what) is the greatest gift of love God has given us? Why is this gift so important to us? (Hint: The greatest gift of love is Jesus!)
