Christmas at King Street Church

Christmas is coming and King Street Church can’t wait to celebrate!

CHRISTMAS WORSHIP

The celebration begins on Sunday, December 8, at 4:00 and 6:00 pm in the Sanctuary.  This contemporary service will feature the King Street Choir and Worship Band, is called “Hope for Everyone” and will feature the song by the same title sung by Matt Maher.  A special highlight will be a powerful performance of “O Holy Night” with a solo with our own vocalist Alyssa Hann.

Steve Flint, Pastor of Worship and Care, says, “No matter what we are facing, no matter what our family is facing, or our community, or our world… we have hope in Jesus!  We know how the story ends.  We know our Lord is coming for us!  That is the point of advent: to anticipate His physical coming to earth, and to celebrate the beginning of our redemption story.  We believe that Jesus reigns, Jesus conquers, He makes all things new, and He is coming back to redeem all of creation!”

There are no tickets for this event, and children are welcome!  Come early, because seating is limited.

CHRISTMAS EVE

Christmas Eve is always a very special service at King Street Church.  We pass out Christmas candles, sing Christmas songs, hear a message from Pastor Jody, and share in our Christmas joy as a church family.  We offer two services simultaneously at each time, and the style of service varies by location.  The music will be more traditional in all of our sanctuary services, and contemporary music will be featured in the Baker Center.

  • Tuesday, December 24 — 3:00, 5:00, and 7:00 pm
  • Baker Center (Contemporary) and Sanctuary (Traditional)

Childcare is offered for ages 3 and under at 3:00 and 5:00 pm.  Register at kingstreetchurch.com/Christmas.

We hope you will join us for Christmas!  Invite friends and let’s celebrate together!
