Below is the testimony for Peter Mertz, who was baptized on Sunday, January 4, 2026. We celebrate with Peter as he takes this step in his journey with Christ.

Peter Mertz

I was raised in a Christian home and surrounded by faith and religion since I was a kid. For most of my life, I have just followed the faith of my parents. It wasn’t until I left to go to college at Liberty University that I really started taking my faith more seriously, and I need to figure out what I truly believe. After spending a lot of time reading and talking with fellow believers, I truly feel that it is God’s plan for me to be able to proclaim my faith by being baptized.
