Jaina Peckman

My name is Jaina Peckman and I am 15 years old. I am a sophomore at Shalom Christian Academy, and I have attended King Street Church for my whole life. Because I became a Christian at a very young age, probably around 5 or 6, and grew up in a Christian household, I don’t really remember not being a Christian. Through the constant influence of church, Sunday school, and the people around me, I knew that I needed to accept Christ as my personal Savior. One night, as I was laying in my bed, I decided to ask Jesus to live in my heart and forgive my sins. As I’ve gotten older and more mature in my faith, through the influence of family, teachers, and the Street student ministry here at King Street, it has become easier to trust God with my life and to love those around me. I want to be baptized today as an act of worship through obedience, and as a public declaration of my faith in Him.
