EXPERIENCE & ENCOUNTER

These questions are an invitation to experience your life with God. Use them on your own or in community as you seek to follow Jesus.

  1. The blind man began his journey by acknowledging his need and responding in obedience to Jesus. Where in your life do you need to admit that you need Jesus to open your eyes or guide you?
  2. Throughout the chapter, the blind man’s understanding of Jesus keeps growing. How has your understanding of Jesus grown over time, and what has helped move your faith from simply knowing about Him to truly trusting Him?
  3. The Pharisees saw the miracle but still refused to reconsider their assumptions. Why do you think it can be difficult for people who are already “religious” to stay open to what God might want to change in their lives?
  4. When the blind man finally understood who Jesus was, his response was worship. What does it practically look like in your daily life to respond to Jesus with worship, humility, and obedience?
