Walk This Way: Rise & Walk
Experience & Encounter
These questions are an invitation to experience your life with God. Use them on your own or in community as you seek to follow Jesus.
- Where have you been staying seated or dragging your feet spiritually? Where is God calling you to rise and walk?
- What do you think of C.S. Lewis’ claim that the only thing Christianity cannot be is “moderately important”? How are you tempted to make your faith moderately important?
- Jesus Christ was raised bodily and lives in a state of resurrection—of full and complete life. In His resurrection life, Christ meets us in various ways: through prayer, the Scriptures, fellowship with brothers and sisters in the faith, acts of service in Jesus’ name, sometimes in our pain and isolation. Where have you experienced the resurrected Christ? Where do you typically encounter Jesus?
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” 1 JOHN 1:7 NIV
