- Read Psalm 37, especially verses 3-7, 10-11, and 28-29. What similarities do you see between Psalm 37 and Matthew 5:5-6? Why do you think it is important that Jesus drew many of His teachings from His Scripture (the Old Testament)?
- Pastor Aaron described justice as God’s way in our heart so that God’s will may come through our words and actions into God’s world. What is one way that God’s justice may come through you? Is your heart sensitive to a specific area of injustice in your school, city, or workplace?
- Pastor Aaron said that meekness comes from being yoked with Christ and that being yoked with Christ is inviting Christ into the hardest work of our lives. Where in your life do you need to be yoked to Christ?
