Experience & Encounter

(These questions are an invitation to experience your life with God. Use them on your own or in community as you seek to follow Jesus.)

  1. Your life may be the only Bible someone reads. How can your actions and attitudes towards others—both in public and private—bring glory to God?
  2. Submitting to something or someone in our culture can imply failure or lack of caring. Biblically speaking, it means the exact opposite. What are some instances in your life where submitting to someone or the process had some positive unintended consequences?
  3. Christ’s sacrifice empowers you to live for righteousness. Reflect on areas where you need to turn away from sin and embrace a new way of life. What are some steps that you need to take in order to make progress in these areas?
