Pastor Aaron talked about hell not as God running out of mercy, but honoring our freedom and choices. What do you think of this perspective?
Have you ever met someone who needed to be in control of everything? We sometimes prefer things to be under our control even if our control doesn’t make things better. This is one way to understand hell. Why do people choose to control even if their control brings pain? What are you tempted to control in your life that you need to submit to God?
Jesus says that eternal fire is prepared for the devil and the devil’s angels (Matthew 25:41). Hell is not prepared for you or for anyone. Why is it still important to think about hell? You are designed for heaven. Why do you think it is important to think about heaven?
