1. What area of your life is hardest to “let go of”? Why is it so difficult to let go of control of this area and give it to God? What is keeping you from doing this?
2. What is an area of your life where you used to need complete control, but found freedom when you gave that control up?
3. Are you more like Mary or Martha? If you are like Mary, how can you influence others to experience God on a more intimate level? If you are more like Martha, what are some reasons that you are working so hard? Are you striving to earn and deserve God’s love? Where does your value come from? How can you create space to simply experience God in the same way that Mary did?
