Encountering God in the Psalms – “Oh! The Joy” Psalm 1

Psalm 1 speaks to the journey of a divinely blessed life that is also of benefit to other sojourners. Use these questions to encounter God this week and enhance your faith walk:

1. Take 15-20 minutes and consider the divine blessings that you have received / experienced along the path of your lifetime. How have these blessings produced happiness in you and been helpful to other sojourners — those in God’s family and those not yet in God’s family?
2. Thinking about this current season of your journey, assess the company you are keeping and the content you are steeping. In what ways does each enhance and/or detract from the joy you desire?
3. What benefits do you want other sojourners to receive / experience from their interaction with you along the way?
