On March 8-9, students in grades 6-12 are invited to participate in the 30 Hour Famine. We did this event last year, and it left a huge impact on those involved. Students will fast for 30 hours to raise awareness within themselves and their community, and to raise money to fight world hunger through World Vision.

On March 8, students will start fasting on their own at 1 pm. They will arrive at King Street at 7 pm to register. We will have a time of hanging out and playing games, be led through some prayer exercises, and will watch some videos from World Vision about people who experienced hunger around the world. On Saturday, students will serve our community and we will have time of reflection. We will break the fast together with some tacos at 7 pm on Saturday.
