Student 30 Hour Famine
On March 6-7, students will participate in a 30 hour famine and raise money to fight hunger. Every dollar will go toward blessing a local feeding organization in Franklin County. The cost to register is a $50 donation toward our cause.
The famine will begin at 12 pm (or at your student’s school lunchtime) on Friday, March 6 and we will break the fast together on Saturday, March 7 at 6 pm. Students will come to the church on Friday at 7 pm. Throughout the famine, there will be hang out time / devotion and response time / learning about local hunger. Students should come prepared to rough it with a sleeping bag and a pad to sleep on in the church overnight.
Saturday, we will participate in multiple local service projects.
