Join the women of KSC for a time of using the creative abilities that God gave us to bless others and receive blessings in the process! This is SO MUCH MORE than just a “craft time” together!

You will walk away having BEEN blessed and also BEING a blessing to someone else whom the Lord lays on your heart with an  encouraging card you will be making , or a beautiful centerpiece that your recipient will see every day, or a gift to lift someone who has miscarried a precious baby from “Sweet Grace Ministries.”

We will enjoy snacks and fellowship with other Godly women as we work together on our “blessings!” Supplies and instructions are provided, but please bring your own scissors if possible.

You don’t have to be “crafty”…just come… as we have wonderful ladies to help you!

Craft options are:

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES

Tuesday Morning Study

From September through April, a group of ladies meets weekly on Tuesday mornings to study God’s Word.  The study is led by Deb Baker and Joyce Cooper. This fall, they will study the Gospel according to Mark.  All you need to bring is your Bible as the Bible Study lessons will be provided.  We will meet on Tuesday, September 9 at 10 a.m. in Room M4 for a “Meet and Greet” and to receive the lessons.  The Bible Study will begin on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 10 a.m.   In order for us to have enough materials available, please register HERE or contact the church office at 717.264.4651.

Wednesday Evening Study
meets each week at 7:00 pm in M28, starting September 10

This fall, the KSC Women’s Ministry will be leading a Wednesday night Bible Study “exploring the wisdom and diversity of women in the Bible.”  Brave and Beloved by Meredith Storrs engages women in the “amazing ways God weaves the lives of women in Scripture into the redemption story.”  Can you name 30 women in the Bible?  You’ll know at least that many by the time you finish this study!  And not only will you know who they are, but you’ll understand how they were used by God and how your own life can also reflect God’s love for the world.  The 20-session study will begin in September and run through early 2026. So we can plan, please sign up here.

Thursday Morning Study

Facilitated by Pat Bowers and Sharon Love, this group meets every other week from September through June, from 8:00 – 9:30 am in M9. This fall, they will continue their study by Stormie Omartian titled “Lead Me Holy Spirit’ with text reading and group discussion. We also spend a portion of our study time with sharing and prayer requests. All ladies are welcome. Questions, contact Sharon. They will resume meeting on Thursday, September 11.

WOMEN’S NIGHT OF PRAYER & FELLOWSHIP

Ladies, you’re invited to an hour of prayer and multi-generational fellowship for all women of King Street ages 16+. We will meet on the second Thursday of each month from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Middle School Room.  Our purpose is:

  • to gather in simple worship where we sing simple, Christ-centered songs that magnify God and grow our knowledge and love for Him
  • to hear a short exhortation that affirms orthodox, historic Christian beliefs and encourages the pursuit of Christlikeness
  • to humbly bring all of our requests to the Lord; to pray for steadfastness as The Church eagerly awaits Christ’s return
  • to have a space that fosters multigenerational community and discipleship like Titus 2— holding each other accountable before God while affirming and honoring one another as sisters in Christ, and as spiritual mothers and daughters in the faith.

WOMEN OF WORTH
(Widows’ Ministry)

This ministry provides opportunities for fellowship to our ladies who have lost a spouse.  They also provide connections to our Men to Mend teams, who make small home repairs and safety checks.  Contact the church office for more information.
