Women’s Ministry:

We have a very busy women’s ministry at King Street called LIFT (Living in Faith and Truth.) The ladies enjoy weekday Bible studies, Saturday morning videos, a Mentoring Program, quarterly Craft Nights, and events like the popular “Festival of Tables.”

In addition to a variety of adult classes offered at both 9:45 and 11:15 each week (find info here), our Women’s Ministry offers a special class just for ladies…

FRIENDS IN FAITH – Women’s Sunday Class   |  Led by Deb MacAskill   |  Room M1  |  11:15-12:15  |  The Friends in Faith class is held in a small group setting. New members and visitors are always welcome!

A new session of Wednesday evening classes begins on January 3, 2018. Two classes just for ladies are being offered. Get more information or sign up for a class here.

“Heaven” by Randy Alcorn  |  Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am starting January 10  |  M9
(7-sessions, led by Sherry Sellers)

Have you found answers to all your questions about paradise? Do you know what will be different—and what will remain the same—in the new Heaven and new Earth? As the years pass and we watch more and more of our family, friends and mentors pass away, it is only natural to ask questions about heaven. However, our understanding of heaven is often limited to a few half-forgotten Sunday school lessons and the insubstantial images provided by popular movies and TV. Fortunately, in Heaven Randy Alcorn provides us with a thoroughly researched and biblically definitive description of heaven. As Alcorn addresses our most serious questions about heaven, including the nature of judgment, and answers a few of our less serious questions as well, including the accessibility of cafe mochas in the sweet by and by.  Readers will develop a deeper understanding of our eternal destination and find the courage to strive for heaven while living on earth.

“Missing Pieces” by Jennifer Rothschild | every other Thursday morning from 6:30-7:30 am starting January 4 | M9  (7 sessions, led by Sharon Love and Cookie Schoenberger)

Does God care? Is He fair? Is He even there? Although you may know all the right answers, they don’t always feel right. Missing Pieces: Real Hope When Life Doesn’t Make Sense – Bible Study Book provides a personal study experience for this video-driven women’s Bible study. Explore these and other questions in this realistic look at the messy, mysterious uncertainties of faith. God’s ways don’t always make sense, but He is trustworthy. Come close to Him. Trust Him more than your feelings. God will reveal Himself and fill in your missing pieces.
