MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY

The middle school years can be some of the most difficult to navigate through in one’s life. This is a time where students start asking the big questions in life and come up with the answers that will likely stick with them the rest of their lives. This is where The Street Student Ministry comes in.

The Street’s purpose is to engage and bless our community (of students) with the Gospel.

Meet our Pastor of Middle School Ministries, Rob Gunkelman!

Rob has been in a variety of vocational ministry since 2014. He is excited to be able to impact the Middle School students’ lives much like his youth pastor impacted his. His desire is to create a welcoming environment where students can experience Jesus in a very real and relevant way.

Rob earned a degree in Missions from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and has been a missionary to Mexico, a corporate chaplain, but really found his love and purpose when he began serving as a Student Pastor in 2018. His desire is to empower students to share their faith, live out their faith, and to impact the current culture with the power of the Gospel.

Rob is married to Krystal and they have been blessed with two amazing children. Rob enjoys all things outdoors, paddling, baking, grilling, basketball, and skiing/snowboarding.
