Memory Care Workshop

Please note that this event has been cancelled.

(At this time, we do not know when the event will be rescheduled.)

By 2025, the number of people aged 65 and older with Alzheimer’s disease is estimated to reach 7.1 million. Congregations play a critical role in caring for a person with Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementia, as well as ministering to their family.  By learning about the warning signs, the difference between Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, visitation tips, how to have difficult conversations, and how to support everyone involved, you will become equipped with the skills needed to begin mastering the art of caring.  Light refreshments will be provided. There is no cost but donations are appreciated to help fund the workshop.
