DESCRIPTION:The Porch is the young adult ministry at King Street Church. We welcome all young adults to get connected\, even if you’re not an attender of King Street Church. We come from different backgrounds and life stages\, but what we share is a desire to build authentic community and grow in our faith and affection for Jesus Christ (Phil. 2:1-11). \nOn the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month\, we have opportunities to build deeper community in gender-specific discipleship groups. In addition to community\, the main focus of these groups is to dig into God’s Word and study other Biblical-centered books & devotionals that will help us to become more equipped disciples of Jesus Christ! The group meeting locations can change\, so if you are interested in joining a group: contact us. \nOur large group gatherings take place on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month in the Student Ministry Center from 7-9PM; enter through the Baker Center lobby (Door #4 and go down the stairs). In addition to community\, the main focus of these groups is to dig into God’s Word and study other Biblical-centered books & devotionals that will help us to become more equipped disciples of Jesus Christ!
