Celebrate Christ with Us This Christmas!

We are looking forward to a variety of events that will help us to celebrate the birth of Jesus.  We hope you will join us.

As well, this Christmas season, we will be challenging our church family to share our joy in considering the spiritual needs of others.  Within your circle of friends, family, neighbors and colleagues, who do you know who needs the hope of Jesus in their life?  Who needs a relationship with Christ? Each week we will talk more about identifying and praying for your one, and about inviting them to our special Christmas events and to Christmas Eve here at King Street Church so that they might hear the Gospel.

Order deadline: Monday, December 11

One of our cherished traditions here at King Street Church is to dedicate a Christmas poinsettia in honor of or in memory of a loved one. Beginning November 19, you can pick up a form in the lobby, sign up at the church office at 56 N. Second Street, or order and pay online here. The cost is $10.50 for a 6-inch plant.

You may take your poinsettia after the Christmas Eve service or pick up in the Baker Lobby on Tuesday, December 26.  Booklets listing all of the dedications will be made available in the lobbies and online (through the Digital Worship Folder on The Hub) on December 24.

Sunday, December 24

This year Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday. We will hold ONE service at 10:00 am in both the Sanctuary and Baker Center. Pastor Rob Gunkelman will share the message as we gather together at this family-style service. Children are encouraged to attend, as Sunday School classes and childcare will not meet.

ALL services will feature the lighting of the Christmas candles. Childcare is offered for ages 3 and under at 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. (Please register for childcare HERE.)

Christmas Eve InvitationsIn the lobbies you will find invitations that you can use to invite someone to Christmas Eve services.

Sunday, December 31

On Sunday morning, December 31, we will hold all of our services in the Sanctuary.  We will not hold worship in the Baker Center on that day, but look forward to worshiping together as one in the Sanctuary at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 am.  Sunday School and childcare will gather as usual, except where announced.  Our Student GPS classes will not meet.
